HVAC Technical Sales Rep - Careers

Position: Full time, salary-exempt, reports to the Vice President

Job Description:

The technical support representative (TSR) will assist Rawal Devices, Inc. in developing customer relationships by solving critical service challenges as they occur.  Lending technical expertise while working closely with the sales team to help enhance overall sales will be the main goal. The TSR will provide technical support for inbound and outbound calls.  The TSR will also provide technical training and certification via webinars.

This person will be responsible for expanding our presence by connecting with the appropriate contacts, updating the details in the ACT database, properly forecasting opportunities, coordinating follow-up activities with the Sales and Technical support teams. Develop both new and retrofit sales.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical support and build relationships with our existing partners
  • Provide market & product feedback. Contribute user case studies to support marketing efforts
  • Reach out to customers to engage in conversation including but not limited to the following:
    • Pre-install tech webinar or call
    • Quality assurance calls
    • High profile job follow up
    • Past 6 month installed job follow up
    • Make sure past jobs are operating correctly
  • Enter data into Act following best practices
  • Prepare and follow up on forecasts
  • Build, drive and maintain sales opportunity pipeline with required reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years field service and consultative experience
  • 5+ years outside sales experience a plus
  • 5+ years HVAC technical experience
  • Strong knowledge of the HVAC refrigeration circuit and controls
  • Practical AC application experience necessary
  • Diagnostic and problem solving ability required
  • Professional and personable
  • Excellent communication skills (face to face and phone)
  • BS or BA a plus
